Sericulture occupies an important position in rural economy, contributing substantially to the socio-economic development of rural folk and also in women empowerment in West Bengal. Herein, study in five Blocks of South 24-Parganas district of West Bengal in 2018-19 revealed the ground reality; and the ongoing project report is presented in this paper.
