Abstract
The steroidogenic and non-steroidogenic cellular components of the corpus luteum of goat have revealed variations in their relative abundance, dimensions and fine morphology in different reproductive phases. The diameter of granulosa luteal cells was 26.052±6.83 and that of theca luteal cells was 15.000±3.11 μm during mid luteal phase of the oestrous cycle. These values were higher than those observed in the late luteal phase.
