Abstract
Urinary proteins play a significant role in the delivery of chemical messages. The urinary proteins belong to the large family of carrier proteins called as lipocalins are generally known as carrier proteins, binding a large variety of small hydrophobic molecules (or) ligands An attempt was made in the present investigation to identify the urinary proteins in the house rat (Rattus rattus).
