Cladding of Metals and Expansion of Tubes to Tube Plate by Explosive

Explosive welding process is not common in industries, except in some specific applications. In this paper, the author details the method of using explosive welding and some prospective areas of application of this process. The results of some explosive weld cladded components have been reported to be good. With this, some future scope of work is also suggested by the author.
