A Computer Analysis of Long Time Deflection of Concrete Beams

The use of high strength materials, ultimate strength design methods, longer spans and higher service stresses lead to slender structural beams, but associated with excessive deflections. These deflections further increase with time due to creep and shrinkage and cause serviceability failures.
