Abstract

There are various methods to remove pollution related to wastewater, the use of sewage with nano-particles suggested as one of the most important methods. In this study, changes in nitrate uptake by complex nanoparticles of iron oxide and clay were studied. Nanoparticles were prepared with ultrasonic devices, water samples containing nanoparticles were tested with DLSfor water distribution and dispersion of nanoparticles in water. Due to a variety of bacteria and other organisms in the natural environment, the artificial wastewater was used. To create artificial drainage of salt, sodium nitrate (Nano3) was used; and to measure the concentration of nitrate and nitrite in the water tanks, devices were used. The results showed that nitrate uptake by complex nanoparticles have increased, so that the highest absorption happened in the case of the combination of nano-particle as 50% iron and 50% clay Nano particles. The least amount of absorption was observed form complexes with 70% nano clay and 30% Nano iron, there were also significant differences in the uptake of iron nitrate treatments first, second and fourth were observed (P> 0.05), but the rate of absorption in the third treatment a significant (P <0.05) than the other treatments and the control group. So with regard to nitrate reduction in direct exposure to nanoparticles in short time and with lower cost alternative to traditional methods of wastewater, treatment with nano filters is a suitable method.
