Abstract
Vitamin C is one of the water soluble vitamins essential for health of the human beings. It is recognised for its therapeutic property in wound healing and in reducing serum cholesterol in early atheroscierosis Vegetables, one of the rich sources of this vitamin, are consumed abundantly in Indian dietaries.
