Abstract
Good health is a major resource and an important dimension of the quality of life. But in present time changes in lifestyle and dietary pattern stemming from rapid modernization have favoured an increase in the occurrence of non-communicable yet chronic and degenerative diet related disease among which cardiovascular disease (CVD) occupy a primary place. CVD is a complex and multifactorial disease.
