The Second Asian Congress of Nutrition was held in Manila, Philippines between January 12 to 17, 1973. The Congress was jointly sponsored by the National Science Development Board, National Food and Agriculture Council, Nutrition Foundation of the Philippines and National Research Council of Philippines under the auspices of the International Union of Nutritional Sciences. Dr. Conrado R. Pascual, Officerin-Charge, National Institute of Science and Technology was the Director of the Congress.
