The Effect of Stage of Lactation on Let down Time, Milking Time, Milk Yield, Average Flow Rate and Milk Composition in Buffaloes

The milk production of a dairy cow at calving starts at relatively high level and continues to increase to a peak approximately three to six weeks after parturition. This peak may be held for a few weeks, after which milk production declines towards the end of lactation.
