Consumption Pattern of Vegetables by Salaried Class in India - A Preliminary Report

The role which vegetables play in the diet of an individual, by providing him essential ingredients necessary for proper upkeep is well recognised. As against the recommended intake of 235g per capita, it is reported that only 142 g of vegetables is consumed by an average Indian.
