Blood Profile of Cows Sustained on Green and Non-Green Ration

In many parts of the country, cows are maintained on inadequate quantity of greens or even without greens for quite a long period. The effect of such a feeding on the vitamin A content of milk as well as on the mineral balances have been reported'. In the present paper the results of the constituents of blood of cows fed green and non-green ration are discussed at various stages of lactation.
