The concept of wavelet packets on local field of positive characteristic was considered by Behera and Jahan [Wavelet packets and wavelet frame packets on local fields of positive characteristic, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 395 (2012) 114]. In this paper, we investigate the properties of wavelet packets by means of the Fourier transform on local fields of positive characteristic.
