Digital watermarking is a fast growing technique of protecting digital multimedia data (audio, image and video) against illegal attack. The watermark is intended to be permanently embedded into the digital data so that authorized users can easily access it. At the same time, the watermark should not degrade the quality of the digital data. In this paper, a new audio watermarking scheme is presented using Singular Value Decomposition (SVD), Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Dither-modulation quantization (DM). The benefits of using quantization and singular values (SVs) in watermarking technique is the DM method is uncomplicated, has very low complexity, and attains good rate-distortion-robustness trade-offs. Dither-modulation is one of the most excellent processes for carrying out blind watermarking, because of its simplicity and excellent rate-distortion-robustness tradeoffs. In this work, a new audio watermarking algorithm based on SVD, DWT and dither-modulation quantization is proposed. The watermark is inserted with the help of dither-modulation quantization of the singular values of the blocks of the host audio signal. The watermark can be obtained without the knowledge of the original audio signal. Experiments were carried out to test the imperceptibility using Mean Opinion Score (MOS) grade and the PSNR Evaluation is done. The PSNR value proves that the proposed technique has very high PSNR value and it has very low PSNR noise value. Keywords
