An Unprecedented 3D Eu(III)-Organic Framework Built of Imidazole Carboxylate by in situ Reaction

In recent decades, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have appealed to researchers in the fields of gas adsorption1, catalysis2, luminescence3, magnetism4, porosity5, proton conductivity6,7, degradation of nerve agents to fuel cells8, and so on. Nevertheless, synthesizing MOFs with expectant structures and desired properties is still a difficult task for researchers. From a large number of previous reports, people found that, to design and prepare the multifunctional organic ligands is a useful way to obtain the desired MOFs.
