Anaesthetic Management of a Child Posted for Cervical Meningomeyelocele Excision

Meningomeylocele is a congenital spinal anomaly,resulting from failure of neural-tube to fuse in fetus. Incidence 1:1000. Anaesthetic challenge includes securing of airway with proper position of child during intubation to avoid rupture of swelling and csf leak. Intraoperatively prone position and its complications and hypothermia.
