Subarachnoid block as currently practiced is essentially landmark based blind technique which implies that the current technique as built in complications of multiple attempts, PDPH , spinal haematoma and trauma leading to neurological damage. Predictive difficulty score for spinal anaesthesia was developed to avoid such complications.
