Abstract
Nepal suffers seriously from medieval outlook, technology, traditions and superstitions. The people, quite honest but illiterate and simple, are mercilessly exploited by feudals, loan-sharks, profiteers and corrupt officials. Economic and cultural levels of different groups differ greatly with the big majority very far behind by modern standards.
