Abstract

Abstract

The persisting global financial crisis has generated widespread interest in the contours of monetary policy and financial regulation both in the developed countries and in the emerging market economies. This book is a timely contribution to the debate on these issues. It is collection of essays which Mohan had presented at various conferences. Mohan has proficiently woven his experiences into analysis to reveal the changing role of the central bank in an emerging market.
