Domestic Full-Time Servants in Poona City

The author presents here, findings about the salaries and conditions of service of domestic servants employed in Poona, based on a survey conducted by her during 1955-57. The sample of 246 servants employed by 168 employers was selected from 10 wards of the city. The servants had whole time employment with the employers.
