'Ghongdi' (Woollen Hand-Woven Blanket) Industry, in a Village, during 1943-58

The author has been working since 1933 as field-investigator in the Cokhale Institute. In this note, he has, presented a picture of the significant changes that have taken place in the woollen blanket industry, which formed the main occupation of the 'weaver-shepherds' of Gulumb a village in South Satara district.
