Estimation of Grain-Loans in a Village

The author has been working for the last 14 years as investigator in rural areas on behalf of the Gokhale Institute. He has discussed here the problem of grain-loans in a village of the Bijapur district, (Mysore State). The data for this note were collected by the author in 1959-60, in the course of a re-survey of that village.
