The study is conducted to determine the effect of human resource planning practices like job analysis, demand and supply forecasting, recruitment and selection, induction, training and development, performance appraisal, career planning, succession planning, job rotation, promotions and transfers and compensation and their effect on efficiency in public, private and foreign telecom sector and how efficiency affects the performance of the organizations. A standardized questionnaire was used to collect primary data from 450 respondents; 200 from the public sector, 150 from the private sector and 100 from the foreign sector. Backward multiple regression analysis was used to check the impact of HRP practices on efficiency. The result of the study revealed that there is a significant effect of HRP practices on the efficiency of employees.Keywords
