Technology will only get more advanced. More people's lives will be saved but more jobs will be automated. Robots will become "smarter" and be able to do things unimaginable. We must not become too dependent on technology. The more and more sophisticated machines become, the more obsolete human beings become. Humans survive off of productivity.
