Web Services (WS) are rapidly replacing the existing distributed computing technologies such as DCOM, CORBA/IIOP and RMI. Extensible Markup languages (XML) Web Services are based on XML and the related technologies such as Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP), Web Services Description Language (WSDL) and Universal Discovery, Description and Integration (UDDI); each of these technologies requires excellence in modeling, to enhance their quality and maintainability. In this paper, it is suggested that the Unified Modeling Language (UML) be used as a graphical modeling tool to model XML web services and SOAP messages between service providers and client applications. Keywords

Facebook recently deployed Facebook Messages, its first ever user-facing application built on the Apache Hadoop platform. Apache HBase is a database-like layer built on Hadoop designed to support billions of messages per day. This paper describes the reasons why Facebook chose Hadoop and HBase over other systems such as Apache Cassandra and Voldemort and discusses the applicationBs requirements for consistency, availability, partition tolerance, data model and scalability. I explore the enhancements made to Hadoop to make it a more effective realtime system, the tradeoffs we made while configuring the system, and how this solution has significant advantages over the sharded MySQL database scheme used in other applications at Facebook and many other web-scalecompanies. I discuss the motivations behind my design choices, the challenges that we face in day-to-day operations, and future capabilities and improvements still under development.I offer these observations on the deployment as a model for other companies who are contemplating a Hadoop-based solution over traditional sharded RDBMS deployments. Keywords

The technologies to implement SOA will certainly go forward to address emerging needs, but its concepts will remain the same. To address those needs and concerns that SOA is potentially being stretched beyond its limits, a significant and coordinated research program is needed. IT Organizations across many industries have adopted or in the process of adopting towards a service-oriented IT architecture (SOA) with WCF Services. WCF Services is a platform for building, configuring and deploying network-distributed services. WCF service is one the most demanding service oriented technology; it has basic fundamental characteristics which is interoperability to support cross platform. WCF provides a common platform for all .NET communication.
This report outlines the various implementation approaches of SOA and performance analysis of respective approaches like Contract First WCF Services with XML Sterilization and Data Contract Sterilization and RESTful WCF Service.

Mobiles of different brands and configuration are available in the market. Generally consumers face the problem to select the suitable one according to his requirement. Here this paper uses the SPSS as data analysis tool/package for analyzing consumer behavior towards purchasing mobile phones based on certain parameters. Dataset is created using SPSS on data collected based on questionnaire from employees around Navi Mumbai. This study uses the correlation method to ascertain the impact of parameters on customer's mobile purchasing behavior. Keywords
